Introducing Bugfender’s New Monthly Plans: More Flexibility, Full Transparency

At Bugfender we believe great software deserves tools that make life easier, not harder. That’s why starting October 2025 we’re introducing a new pricing model that gives you more freedom, more predictability and more control.
This change comes from listening closely to what our customers told us. Teams want flexibility to adapt to real usage, simple and transparent billing, and a way to budget confidently across multiple projects. We took that feedback and built a model that works the way you do.
Why the Change?
Over time, many of you have asked for:
- More flexibility to match logging with real-world usage patterns.
- Simpler, more transparent billing since daily limits could be confusing.
- Easier budgeting across multiple apps, projects or clients.
We listened, and we’re excited to introduce a model that makes usage and billing more intuitive.
What’s New?
Instead of tracking usage day by day, Bugfender will now offer monthly plans that match the needs of your business. You decide how many logs you need each month and set your own comfort zone for extra usage. If you go beyond it, logging simply pauses, so you stay in control at all times.
Think of it as predictable power: you reserve what you know you need, and you have the freedom to handle the unexpected without ever worrying about hidden charges.
If you’re already on a Daily plan, don’t worry, nothing changes for you. You’ll continue with daily limits unless you choose to switch or upgrade your plan.
Key Concepts to Know
Here’s how the new monthly model works:
- Pre-reserved Logs: You can purchase a fixed number of logs in advance, at a discounted rate.
- Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) Budget: Need extra flexibility? Use more logs than your plan includes and just pay for the difference, up to a cap you define.
- Hard Limits: Once both your pre-reserved and PAYG budgets are used up, logging will pause for the rest of the billing cycle (no surprise overages!).

Whether you’re a small team that wants cost certainty or a larger organization with fluctuating workloads, the new plans scale with you. Every paid plan now includes ten million logs per month, unlimited apps and unlimited team members. From startups to enterprises, you get the control and transparency you asked for.
We’ve designed the new plans to scale with your team:
- Team Plan – Fixed PAYG budget based on your pre-reserved logs, no surprise bills.
- Pro & Enterprise Plans – Fully customizable PAYG limits for teams with more demanding or fluctuating workloads.
See It in Action
Imagine you are on the Pro plan with 10 million pre-reserved logs and a pay-as-you-go budget for 3 million more.
- If your team uses up to 10M logs in a month, you pay nothing extra, just your regular monthly fee.
- If you use 12.5M logs, you’ll be billed for the extra 3M logs on top of your plan (rounded up from 2.5M).
- If you go beyond your budget, logging simply pauses. No surprises, no hidden fees, full control.

When Does It Start?
The new pricing is available for new customers from October 2025. Existing customers can continue on their current daily plans or make the switch to monthly whenever they are ready.
